Date: Friday 10th December 2010 11:50 I finished the workshop yesterday and passed the test with 30 out of 30! Just wanted to let you know that I found the course to be very useful. As a seasoned facilitator, there was a lot I knew and was doing already, but this formalized many of my processes and approaches and gave me new insights into areas where I could do better/worry less. I drew a mind map of the learning I gained and will refer to that each time I create a new workshop/facilitating opportunity. I was initially concerned that I had paid too much...but I got my 99 dollars worth and more! |
Date: Friday 12th March 2010 12:57 It was awesome! |
Date: Friday 16th September 2011 07:35 I recommend the use of this e-Learning program as refresher training on the fundamentals of facilitation and as an introduction (pre-requisite) to more formal training for employees new to Facilitation. Scoring high points in my recommendation for the value of this training is the fact that this web based training includes everything we need to practice what we learn in the form of a workshop. Any chance of another tutorial focused on the various facilitation tools such as Gap Analysis, Force-Field Analysis, etc.?

Date: Friday 23rd July 2010 10:34 I was delighted by this course of Ingrid's, it was very simple to step through the facilitation process, learning and observing the situations and how to handle them. This course provides a solid base for building your facilitation skills and would be helpful for anyone involved in business these days. I highly recommend this course as well as anything else Ingrid is involved in. |
Date: Friday 25th June 2010 08:41 It would be useful to have had some content on facilitation when you are part of a team rather than a designated facilitator. |
Date: Friday 9th April 2010 02:35 I THOUGHT THE COURSE WAS VERY WELL DONE AND ORGANIZED IN LOGICAL PIECES. THE CONCEPTS ARE CLEAR AND WELL PRESENTED. THE VIDEO EXAMPLES WERE ABOVE AVERAGE AND PRETTY REALISTIC. I AM INCORPORATING MANY OF THE IDEAS IN THE WORK THAT I DO. Justin Ryan |
Date: Monday 12th April 2010 08:08 Blended learning - e-learning plus in-class - worked very well. I don't think it would have been as effective with just the e-learning portion. |
Date: Monday 16th August 2010 12:46 Very impressived and useful on-line course. Thank you. |
Date: Monday 17th January 2011 10:31 Love this programme as a practical support to our newly minted train the advanced facilitator programme. The only suggestion is that the graphics, photos, and videos are very USA-centric. Kudos that there is diversity represented. My concern is that working for a global organisation, it looks like a conference room in the US. I am a USA citizen living abroad so this is not a USA bashing, just observations made from experience. Thank you for the opportunity to use the course for 90 days following the IAF conf in Helsinki. I plan to contact you to see how we can implement this in our organisation. Jayna Johnson |
Date: Monday 1st February 2010 03:25 this is the best course ever!!! |
Date: Saturday 13th March 2010 08:10 This is a great, great course......keep it up!! |
Date: Saturday 4th September 2010 10:53 I woule like to suggest and kindly request the creation of another e-programme, this time for "advanced skills" in the lines of the related book of Mrs Bens.
Kind regards
Nikolas |
Date: Sunday 16th January 2011 04:02 I would like to buy the programme to have it handy (and on CD) and go through it any time I am about to lead a faciliated group. As a professional facilitator I like revising from time to time.
Are there any possibilities to buy the programme as such? I am very interested. Best and thank you, Karin Elena Sánchez |
Date: Thursday 24th February 2011 05:59 Thanks again for prolonging access for additional month.
I would recommend that you break longer text into smaller peaces. It is better if the text does not appear at once but in sequence.
Overall great e-learning program, I especially liked videos. |
Date: Thursday 2nd July 2009 03:46 I signed on to review the course for my group, but learned so much that I'm now
taking each lesson. This is a great review! May 16, 2009 |
Date: Thursday 3rd March 2011 02:15 I think that this was a very good introduction to facilitation and foundation, but I would have liked to see more "non-traditional" style ideas.
Also, the web platform was very finikey. It doesn't remember all of the modules that I actually took. I printed my certificate the first time that I finished, but then the next day wanted to go back through the test again and it thought I had only completed like two modules. It would have been useful to be able to look at the questions a second time, with my answer and the correct answers and a brief explination or hint to where the information would be in the workbooks. |
Date: Thursday 9th April 2009 09:31 This course gave me insights into some of the finer points or facilitation that I had frankly never thought about.Being able to go back and take a second look at some of the videos was also very helpful. I'm going to recommend this to my entire team. |
Date: Thursday 9th December 2010 05:56 The course was fun to take - easy to navigate, comprehensible, cleary stuctured, divided into workable units. I enjoyed the brief films as practical illustrations of the unit content. Summaries at the end of each lessons helped me remember the most important ideas. I will recommend the course to my colleagues. |
Date: Tuesday 13th July 2010 06:14 The course was above expectations, more comprehensive than I could imagine! I realized that facilitation is a skill that needs a lot of practice, like coaching, but more complex. The "group practice observation sheet" will be helpful i this practice. The "conflict managing" and "decision options chart" were especially useful. On the "facilitation Cue Card" there is a "Tool kit" and I missed an explanation of some of these tools i.e Force-field Analysis, Root Cause Analysis and Systematic Problem Solving. Being a certified NLP coach the core beliefs and core practices were familiar to me. |
Date: Tuesday 18th January 2011 05:31 Thanks so much for this outstanding opportunity. High quality presentations, easy to understand and have been using the material in meetings and presentations. |
Date: Tuesday 18th January 2011 07:25 I particularly and highly enjoyed the videos.
I have one proposal for improvement on somnething I have been missing after taking the test which is to be able to see what I missed. I would have appreciated the option to check the incorrect items .
Thank you! |
Date: Tuesday 25th January 2011 06:07 The course is practical and I guess deserves all the best rates, but I expected it to be a bit more complex. It was really beginners lessons and I believe it could be faster and more concentrated - it took too many hours for few nbenefitial points.

Date: Tuesday 7th July 2009 02:12 The information on making interventions really cleared up a major area of confusion for me. I never really knew if it was ok to speak up to people who were acting out or what to say to them. The three-step intervention model is now etched in my memory! |
Date: Wednesday 16th September 2009 09:24 We purchased a large block of seats and opened enrollment to quite a few people who are not part of the facilitator network. One of our regional lawyers took the training and he took the time to send us a note to say how great he thought it was, especially the video clips showcasing techniques. Thought you would like to know |
Date: Wednesday 28th July 2010 01:28 I would like to see the workbook and haven't been able to access it. I don't know if an issue with my computer or if it is unavailable. I'd still like to see it, janice.fontanella@oprhp.state.ny.us |
